The Congregation is a memorable occasion for our graduates to celebrate the completion of studies with families and friends. It is also the first time that the congregation to be held at Shaw Auditorium, a brand new hall with state-of-the-art facilities. IPO graduates from BSc in Risk Management & Business Intelligence Program (RMBI), BSc in Environmental Management and Technology Program (EVMT), MPhil in Atmospheric Environmental Science (AES), MPhil in Environmental Science, Policy and Management (ESPM), MPhil in Individualized Interdisciplinary Program (IIP), Master of Public Policy (MPP), MSc in Environmental Science and Management (EVSM), attended the physical congregation in the afternoon with excitement.

Prof. Huamin QU, Director of IPO, congratulated the graduates for their remarkable accomplishments and encouraged the graduates to serve the society with what they leant in HKUST in his address. “You are about to turn a new page in life. I hope you will remember and carry out the core values of HKUST which are Inclusiveness, Diversity, Respect and the “Can-do” spirit. And that you can apply what you have learned here to serve the society and to cope with present challenges facing by human beings with your mindset, skillset, and team-spirit.”

At the end of the ceremony, Justin NG, graduate from Master of Public Policy (MPP), and Vanessa CHAN, graduate from BSc in Risk Management & Business Intelligence Program (RMBI), spoke on stage as the student representatives to share their interdisciplinary study journeys and wish all graduates a bright future.
